You and the real you

You think you know yourself. The serious one, who always wakes up at the same time and snoozes that alarm clock only once. The one that doesn’t like to be alone for too long, but hates being surrounded by too many people.

The truth is that you know nothing until you go on a trip alone. You can meet the real you then. Deal with the problems on your own, go where you want to go and figure that out alone.

And only after you come back you realise that even though everything is still the same, you are different. You are more now.

Stop yawning, start planning

That old boring work email will not answer itself, you know. Open it, answer, do the tasks that are due. Have a lunch break, but don’t waste time for office chitchat. You can discuss the weather or the new local coffee shop later. Now go and plan your next trip. If you need some inspiration, download our TrailSmart app. It is free and you can find it on Google Play and Apple Store.

Read about the trails and trust us – we have everything covered.

If you don’t feel like going on any of the trails, it’s not a problem. At least you started to look for something. Keep looking and you will find your next adventure destination.

Just every time you yawn on your way to work remember the joy that is waiting for you the moment you land in a different land/country/continent.

Some means of transportation are more interesting than others. Even when they are bored.

What to expect from the weather forecast?

Are you one of those people that spend hours worrying about what will the weather be during your trip? Is it going to be warm enough? Is it going to be raining? Will it snow? Will I sweat to death?

Spending the time checking all the different apps expecting for the perfect weather forecast and waiting until it changes probably will not have any effect on the forecast. So you shouldn’t expect the best from it. In fact, expect nothing from it.

What to do then?

People say that you should always prepare for the worst. Prepare for the weather getting as cold as you do not want it to, prepare for the rain or snow, prepare for extremely hot days. Just don’t think about it as the worst. You will always remember your trip as “that one” anyways.
