This hamlet can optionally be used as a trailhead if you are trying to break up the Demre–Finike section without camping as it can be reached by vehicle from Demre.

One option is to get a drive here and then hike down the mountain into Demre. Overnight there then get a ride back to Zeytin and then do the middle portion of the mountain to just after Belos, where you’d have a pick-up arranged taking you to Finike. Overnight there then get another ride back up to near Belos and hike into Finike.

There is a water source here directly on the Lycian Way’s path.
