Don’t be shocked if Hüseyin spots you (and comes out to pick you up) long before you are anywhere near his pension! He’s quite aggressive / enthusiastic about chasing down business. Be sure to negotiate on the rate (haggling is almost always required to get a good rate) and confirm all costs up-front.

Feedback we’ve received from hikers is sharply divided between those who loved their stay and those who did not like it at all. It clearly appeals to different types of guests. Most of the feedback we’ve had suggests that the accommodation itself is a bit sub-standard but that the meals are very good and that Hüseyin and his wife are friendly, gracious, and eager to help.
