Essentials

Has multiple rooms available that can accommodate 16-18 trekkers at once. Hearty, above-average, home-cooked breakfast and dinners are provided.

Note: there’s no sign on the house indicating rooms are available. Just knock (or call).

There are four rooms with three beds each as well as a covered patio where three additional people can sleep. Up to four additional spaces are available in neighbouring homes.

Those with their own tent can be set up in the yard.

Operated by Brea, a Canadian ex-patriot (from Montreal) and Fatima. Brea speaks English, French, Spanish, and Turkish (the ‘0773’ mobile number listed in the contacts is hers). Fatima speaks Turkish and very basic English (the ‘1795’ mobile number is hers).

Open all year.

Note, Brea tells us that several other homes in the village are also available to hikers:

– Aynur’s home has 1 room.
– Cem and Sidika’s home has 2 rooms.
– Muhtar’s home has several cabins available.

Ask around at the village and anyone can point you to the correct homes.

We get great feedback about this place. Recommended.

Pretty Pictures

Sometimes nothing beats a good photo. Or even a bad photo! If you’d like to share some or all of your photo collection with the Trekopedia community, contact us at photos@trekopedia.com and we can arrange a transfer of them. And thanks!

How You Can Help

Trail research is never actually done. Here’s some of what we’re looking for:
✅   More photos! Ideally with geo-location information in the metadata. In addition to using some photos on Trekopedia, we add them to our internal reference database which significantly helps us with trail research. The more photos, the better! If you are willing to share your collection with us, we’d be incredibly grateful. Let us know and we’ll arrange a transfer.

✅   Points of interest. Help us identify (and geo-locate) accommodations, attractions, restaurants, markets, trail waypoints, confusing or problematic junctions, difficult or hazardous places, water sources, and so on.

✅   Tips & recommendations. Share your thoughts with other hikers.
In addition to the above, please see this article for information on more general ways you can help. Thanks!
