Hamlet west of Demre on the alternate (but recommended, in our opinoni) path to / from Kapaklı.

In ancient times, this used to be an important harbor called Andriake. There are still notable ruins in this area that are worth exploring on your way to Demre.

If you don’t want to walk along the road into / through Demre, it is usually easy to get a taxi or hitchhike.

Highlights

Adjacent to the hamlet is the interesting Andriake ruins / outdoor museum.

Çayağzı has a nice beach.
