Ascends and descends a small hill. Nothing particular steep, though the E slope of the hill is at about a 14% grade.

Good quality trail with nice views of the very attractive bay.

Way-finding is good.

Handy Things to Know

Water

There is a couple of water fountains along this section.

Highlights

The Talmussa Lycian ruins are on the hillside at the eastern edge of Üçağız. They tend to be overgrown and the paths through the tombs are rugged.

Tips

The Lycian Way doesn’t actually go into Kaleköy. Instead it passes a junction to the NE of the hamlet. There’s a footpath leading from the junction into the village via the castle ruins that overlook the community.
Kaleköy doesn’t have any roads going to it at all. Access is only by foot or boat!

Route Planning

If you want to bypass this section, it is possible to take a short but pretty boat ride between Üçağız and Kaleköy / Simena (typically with stops atop some of the sunken ruins offshore of Kaleköy).
